About the Role
We are looking for a Sustainability Intern to join our diverse Buildings + Places Sustainability team in Melbourne. This opportunity will work on a variety of projects including health, education, sports infrastructure, aviation, defence and data centres.
How you’ll make a difference
- Contribute to achieving ambitious sustainability outcomes across a diverse portfolio of high‑profile projects, helping shape more resilient built environments.
- Drive meaningful project impact by supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of sustainability‑focused workstreams and key deliverables.
- Act as a connector and collaborator,
using your communication and interpersonal skills to support both internal teams and client‑facing work.
- Develop your skills through mentorship, learning from experienced team members while actively contributing to a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
Requirements for Success
- Summer Intern attributes: Interns who are curious and excited to apply their studies in a professional environment. You'll bring strong communication and teamwork skills, a positive and proactive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
- Bachelor’s Degree: You must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree relevant to the role you are applying for.
- Commencement: Able to work full time hours from mid November 2026 – mid February 2027 (adaptable).
- Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying. Depending on the role and business requirements, we may also consider applications from candidates on student or graduate visas.
