- Determine specific welding requirements
- Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools.
- Effectively layout designs
- Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
- Joining metal sections using hand tools, examining welds by filing, grinding.
- Examine weld for bead size and other specifications.
- Welds in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions
- Follow, create and help maintain welding procedure specifications
- Maintain occupational health and safety at work at all times
- Perform all necessary maintenance and repair as per job sheet.
Required skills Must hold trade certificate qualification in welding. Have at least 2 years work experience as a welder and knowledge in the industry.
