About the Role
We are seeking qualified and reliable Automotive Technicians to join our growing automotive team. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who takes pride in workmanship, values safety and compliance, and enjoys working in a fast-paced dealership or service centre environment.
You will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to manufacturer and company standards, ensuring a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Carry out repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify additional repair or maintenance needs
- Complete job cards, inspection reports,
and service documentation accurately
- Ensure all work complies with WHS and industry regulations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
- Work collaboratively with service advisors, technicians, and workshop supervisors
- Participate in ongoing technical training when required
Requirements & Qualifications
Essential
- Trade qualification in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Certificate III or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ post-trade experience as an Automotive Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- Full Australian working rights (PR / Citizen / Valid Work Visa)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and time management skills
Desirable
- Experience working in a dealership environment
- Exposure to EV / Hybrid vehicles (training can be provided)
- Current Air Conditioning (ARC) licence
- Roadworthy Certificate (RWC) accreditation
- Experience with diagnostic software and electronic systems
