The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced administrator who is ready for more. This HSEQ Administrator role is ideal for a capable, proactive professional who wants a pathway into a Coordinator-level position. Techworks is growing quickly, and high performers who take initiative and deliver consistently will have genuine opportunity to step up.
You will report to the HSEQ Advisor and be supported by the HSEQ Admin Assistant, partnering with leaders, supervisors, and field teams to keep safety and quality requirements clear, current, and easy to apply.

Key responsibilities
- Support day to day safety coordination including hazard reporting, incident follow up, corrective actions, and close out tracking.
- Assist with risk assessments and safety management documentation, with a focus on early identification and practical controls.
- Coordinate document reviews across procedures, plans, SOPs, and risk assessments to keep content current, consistent, and fit for purpose.
- Maintain HSEQ documentation including inductions, registers, audit logs, and compliance records with strong version control and attention to detail.
- Support onboarding and mobilisation of workers to site, including induction documentation and compliance checks.
- Monitor training records, licenses, and renewals to support ongoing compliance
- Coordinate training schedules and toolbox meeting support as required
About you
You are organised, reliable, and proactive. You take pride in accurate work, communicate confidently with field teams, and follow through on actions. You look for ways to improve how things run, and you are ready for a role with visibility and growth.
Essential requirements
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or minimum 3 years experience in HSEQ
- Current drivers license
- Australian working rights
- White Card, or willingness to obtain
- Robust attention to detail and follow through on actions
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a practical approach to supporting field teams
Preferred experience
- Experience in a construction, electrical, plumbing, or maintenance environment
- Experience with Rapid Global and simPRO
- Experience working with an ISO-based management system
