Role Description The Maintenance Electrician is a full-time, on-site role based in Adelaide, SA. Further to workshop board building duties, this role is responsible for performing routine and reactive electrical maintenance on equipment and systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation across client sites. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults, carrying out repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance schedules to minimise downtime. The Maintenance Electrician will install, inspect, test,



and maintain electrical components and wiring in accordance with relevant standards and regulations. The role also involves documenting maintenance activities, collaborating with engineering and project teams, and supporting energy management and power quality initiatives where required.
QualificationsCandidates should possess solid skills in Electrical Maintenance and general Electricity knowledge, with a sound understanding of industrial and commercial electrical systems.Candidates should have high attention to detail suitable to electrical board buildingCandidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance, including planning and executing maintenance schedules to reduce equipment failures.Relevant trade qualification or electrical license, with demonstrated experience as a maintenance electrician in industrial or commercial environments.Solid knowledge of safety standards, regulations, and safe work practices, including lockout/tagout and risk assessment.Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation, and use test instruments and diagnostic tools.Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Experience with energy management, power quality systems, or control systems is highly regarded.
