Pirtek Adelaide is now looking for a motivated Customer Service / Counter Sales person to join the team and help deliver practical, reliable solutions to customers across a wide range of industries.
About the Role
This is a varied customer service and sales support role where no two days are the same. Working closely with the Centre Manager, you will assist customers over the phone and at the counter, prepare quotes, support sales activity and help identify solutions that meet customer needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Responding to phone and counter enquiries in a qualified and helpful manner
• Preparing quotes and supporting day-to-day sales activity
• Building strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Working with the Sales and Operations team to deliver excellent service outcomes
• Identifying opportunities to provide value-added solutions to customers
• Supporting customers across industries including mining, marine, transport and contracting
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems and working as part of a team. You will ideally have:
• Previous experience in customer service, sales support or a counter-based role
• Experience in hydraulics, or a technical/trade background, highly regarded
• Strong verbal, written and numerical communication skills
• A positive, team-focused attitude
• The ability to prioritise competing tasks and stay organised
• Good problem-solving skills and the confidence to think on your feet
• A current driver’s licence
