At Total Marine Technology (TMT), you'll work on some of Australia's most advanced subsea and offshore equipment.

This role is primarily workshop based in Bibra Lake, with opportunities to travel offshore and support projects.

About the Role

Working within our Electrical Department, you'll be responsible for the assembly, testing, installation and maintenance of specialised electrical equipment used in marine and offshore operations.

Your day may include:

- Building and wiring electrical control panels and enclosures

- Installing and commissioning electrical systems

- Testing and fault-finding electrical equipment

- Reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

- Completing electrical testing documentation

- Tagging and testing portable equipment

- Supporting offshore mobilisations and demobilisations





- Assisting with ROV systems and subsea tooling

- Supervising and mentoring apprentices

- Working safely in accordance with Australian Standards and company procedures

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving technical problems and wants to continue developing their career.

You'll ideally have:

- Current WA A Grade Electrical Licence

- 1–3 years' post-trade experience (more experience also welcome)

- Strong fault-finding skills

- Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams

- Excellent attention to detail

- A positive attitude and robust work ethic

- Willingness to travel offshore when required

- Commitment to working safely

Desirable (but not essential)

- Oil & Gas experience

- Hazardous Area experience

- Instrumentation experience

- EEHA knowledge

- High Risk Work Licences

- Current driver's licence

- Offshore tickets (BOSIET, MSIC, OGUK, etc.)
