Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Leading Hand who enjoys taking ownership, leading crews and delivering quality outcomes.

About the Role

You will be responsible for leading a crew of 2–3 personnel and delivering commercial and industrial fencing projects throughout Perth and regional WA.

This role suits someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys responsibility, and is capable of leading projects with minimal supervision.

You will be expected to:

- Lead and mentor fencing installation crews.

- Plan and coordinate daily site activities.

- Read and interpret plans and specifications.

- Deliver projects safely, on time and to a high standard.

- Communicate effectively with Project Managers, clients and subcontractors.

- Take ownership of project outcomes and solve problems proactively.

- Maintain productivity, quality and safety standards.

Skills, Experience & Qualification

Essential

- Construction White Card.

- Current Driver's License.

- Excavator, skid steer experience & qualification.

- Ability to pass random drug and alcohol testing.

- Demonstrated experience installing:

- Chainwire fencing.

- Garrison fencing.

- Palisade fencing.

- Weldmesh fencing.

- Swing & sliding gates.

- Ability to accurately interpret plans, specifications and deliver work in accordance with those documents.

- Strong communication and organizational skills.

Remuneration & Benefits

- $130,000 – $170,000 package depending on experience and demonstrated capability.

This position is best suited to experienced installers and leading hands who can demonstrate a history of taking ownership, leading crews and consistently delivering quality outcomes.

Remuneration will be based on demonstrated capability, leadership experience, and ability to successfully deliver projects. The upper end of the range is intended for exceptional candidates with a proven track record of leading crews, taking ownership of outcomes and consistently delivering major projects to high standards.
