Harley Day Surgery provides patients specialist dental & oral surgery in a SA Health licenced and NSQHS accredited private day procedure hospital in the heart of North Adelaide’s medical precinct.
We are seeking a registered nurse to join our close-knit clinical team to provide our inpatients with exceptional clinical services in both the preoperative & postoperative recovery phase of their admission.
Your responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care for all inpatients requiring care in the Day Surgery.
- Work across pre-admission through to discharge and post discharge follow-up.
- Provide clinical support to our Clinicians and Dental Assistants during perioperative procedures including anaesthetics.
- Participate in medical responses.
About you
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 12-month working experience within an Australian perioperative hospital setting (essential)
- Experience in preoperative and postoperative recovery patient care
- Stage 1 &/or 2 Recovery experience
- Knowledge of legal aspects of perioperative practice
- Currency of Infection Control policies and processes
- Current BLS/ALS qualifications
- Knowledge of current ACORN standards
- An excellent communicator, highly organised with high attention to detail
- Knowledge of NQSHSS and hospital accreditation requirements (desirable)
- Dental and/or oral surgery experience desirable
