The Motor Trade Association SA/NT (MTA) is the peak body representing the automotive retail, service and repair industry in South Australia and the Northern Territory. Our 1,300 members span publicly listed vehicle dealerships, through to independent mechanical repair workshops, service stations and automotive dismantlers. Our registered training organisation (RTO) and group training organisation (GTO), MTA Training and Employment, is a trusted leader training more than 1,100 apprentices and directly employing more than 450. About the Role:

The Contracts and Facilities Manager is responsible for the effective coordination and management of procurement, contracts, and building maintenance across multiple sites. The role ensures buildings and services are safe, functional, and well maintained, supporting operational needs and delivering a high standard of service to tenants and stakeholders. The incumbent may occasionally undertake or assist with minor hands on facilities related tasks to support operational requirements. The role may also require occasional attendance at MTA events outside normal business hours, including weekend work. Time worked outside standard hours will be managed in accordance with MTA policies, including Time Off in Lieu arrangements where applicable.

What You Will Do:

- Manage procurement activities, including supporting business units with supplier contracts and establishing preferred supplier arrangements
- Oversee fleet management, including procurement, disposal, registrations, and monitoring
- Coordinate and manage contractors across multiple sites, including cleaning, gardening, security, and maintenance services
- Negotiate and manage key service contracts such as insurance, energy, electrical, plumbing, and waste services




- Act as a key point of contact for tenants and liaise with property managers on issues and improvements
- Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and building improvement programs across sites
- Oversee waste management and site maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with WHS, legislative requirements, and internal policies, promoting a safe working environment

What You Will Bring:

- Previous experience in procurement, contracts management, and facilities coordination
- Solid ability to manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritise effectively
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Understanding of compliance and safety requirements in a facilities environment
- Relevant licences and checks, including a current driver’s licence, Working with Children Check, and Police Clearance
