Lake Karrinyup Country Club is recognised nationally for the presentation and conditioning of its championship 18-hole course and North 9-hole course. We are seeking a qualified greenkeeper to join our experienced course maintenance team.

This is a rare opportunity to work across championship-standard playing surfaces, modern turf equipment and significant irrigation, construction, renovation and tournament-preparation projects in a stable permanent role.

About the Role

Reporting to the Course Superintendent, you will contribute to the daily preparation and long-term improvement of our golf courses. The role covers all areas of course maintenance and suits someone who notices fine presentation details, takes care of equipment and enjoys working within a skilled team.

You will gain exposure to leading course standards, modern equipment, and structured work practices within a supportive and professional environment.

The position includes 5.30am starts and participation in a shared weekend and public-holiday roster.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and present greens, tees, fairways, surrounds, roughs and bunkers.
- Operate specialist turf machinery safely and care for equipment to a high standard.
- Assist with irrigation operation, moisture management, turf health and plant-protection programs.
- Contribute to renovations, construction work and the club's major irrigation replacement program.
- Participate in tournament and major-event preparation.
- Follow protected work practices and contribute positively to a respectful, team-focused workplace.

About You





- Certificate III in Sports Turf Management, Horticulture (Turf Management) or a recognised equivalent.
- Relevant hands-on experience in greenkeeping, sports turf or high-quality turf maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and genuine pride in the standard of your work.
- Reliable, punctual and comfortable working outdoors and starting early.
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to continue learning.
- A current Australian driver's licence and the right to work in Australia.

Golf course experience is highly regarded but is not essential. Experienced candidates from sportsfields, stadiums, racetracks, schools, councils and other turf environments are encouraged to apply. Current Turf Apprentices are also encouraged to apply.

- $74,000–$76,000 per annum, inclusive of rostered overtime, plus superannuation, based on experience.
