About the Role

As a Food & Beverage Duty Manager, you will help lead our front-of-house team across a diverse range of food and beverage experiences at The Lodge Wadjemup.

You will be responsible for overseeing shift operations across Sunsets Bar & Dining, our signature restaurant, Pelican Kiosk, our dedicated Function Centre, and our seasonal Pool Bar, while also supporting a range of exciting events and activations held throughout the year.

This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days are the same. From breakfast service and sunset dining to social events, corporate events, island celebrations and special activations, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

This is a live-on position, with staff accommodation available at a low weekly rent, offering a unique opportunity to live and work on one of Australia's most iconic islands.

What You'll Bring

- Current WA Approved Manager's Certificate

- Previous experience in a Duty Manager, Floor Manager or Section Manager role

- Experience working in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, resort or hospitality venue

- Robust leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop a team

- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail

- Strong communication and organisational skills

- Flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude

- Safety & Compliance focus is must

- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service

Skills, Experience & Qualifications





- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Duty Manager, Floor Manager or Section Manager role

- Proven experience working in a high-volume hospitality environment

- Strong stock control and inventory management experience

- Experience receiving deliveries and maintaining storage standards

- Proficiency with BEPOZ POS system, end-of-day reconciliation and reporting

- Ability to lead shifts and make operational decisions with confidence

- Full working rights within Australia

- Current WA Approved Manager's Certificate (essential)

- Current National Police Clearance, or the ability to obtain one

- National Police Clearance must be obtained before the start date if not currently held
