Ipsos, Australia's leading Social Research company, is currently conducting the South-East Queensland Travel Survey (SEQTS).
To make the SEQTS project a success, we are looking for a committed casual field interviewer to join our team. Work starts the week commencing 17th August.
In this role, you will undertake the recruitment of selected households for the SEQTS research study. To ensure the success of the project, you will play a vital role in the completion of travel surveys around the Gold Coast and surrounds on behalf of the Queensland Government.
This study has been successfully running continually since 2017 in Queensland and is a key resource in Queensland’s transport policy and infrastructure planning and development.
Paid training will be provided, and there will be potential for high achievers to be trained in supervisory positions. There may also be opportunities for those with high availability to work on other projects in parallel with the SEQTS project.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
• Be available to work Saturday AND Sunday at minimum, and additional days as available.
• Have a mobile phone, a current driver’s licence, and the right to work in Australia
• Be confident and comfortable approaching households to introduce the survey
• Be fluent in English and have good communication skills
• Be well-presented, reliable, and have excellent attention to detail.
• Be comfortable using smart devices (e.g., tablets)
• Have access to a reliable vehicle and enjoy driving
• Sales, Field, or Census interviewing experience would be beneficial, but not essential as full training will be provided.

- Kilometres travelled paid at $1.00 per km.
