About the Role
We’re seeking a qualified Electrician to step into a Shutdown Planner position based in Alice Springs, responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of facility shutdowns and configuration changes across maintenance and construction projects. This role is essential to maintaining reliability, safety, and compliance within a complex, high‑security environment.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS POSITION IS BASED IN ALICE SPRINGS AND RELOCATION WOULD BE PROVIDED TO THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
Responsibilities Include (however not limited to):
- Develop, review, and maintain configuration and procedural documentation.
- Plan and coordinate critical infrastructure shutdowns and configuration changes.
- Provide technical advice on proposed changes from concept through to IFC designs.
- Support stakeholder engagement and change management processes.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
About You:
- Certificate IV in Electrical or HVAC Trade (or equivalent).
- Knowledge of:
- Power generation and distribution
- Data center power systems
- Building management systems
- HVAC systems
- Project and configuration management
- Leadership experience in a technical environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
