Current Vacancies
1. Workshop Supervisor:

- Minimum 6 years' experience
- Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (or equivalent)

2. Leading Hand:
- Minimum 4 years' experience
- Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (or equivalent)

3. Metal Fabricators / Boilermakers / Welders / Welding Engineer (Metallurgist):
- Minimum 3 years' experience (steel structures)
- Relevant trade qualifications

4. CNC Machine Operators:
- Minimum 3 years' experience with steel-related CNC machinery

5. Structural Steel Detailer (Tekla Modeller) with 3D Scanning Experience / Civil Engineering Draftsperson:
- Minimum 3 years' proven experience with Tekla Structures in structural steel projects
- Proficiency in Tekla Modeller and handling 3D scanning data (point clouds, laser scans)
- Strong understanding of construction and fabrication processes

Role Requirements





For positions 1-4:

- Industry-recognised certificates
- Proficient in English (spoken and written)
- Strong ability to interpret fabrication drawings
- In-depth knowledge of AS/NZS 5131, AS/NZS 1554, AS/NZS 4100
- Valid WA driver's licence
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays if required

For Position 5 (structural steel detailer / civil engineer draftsperson:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within the structural steel industry
- Proven experience with Tekla Structures is a must
- Proficiency in 3D scanning data (point clouds, laser scans) is a must
- Strong understanding of construction and fabrication processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Desirable Skills (Position 5):

- Experience with NavisWorks, AutoCAD, Trimble Connect, RealWorks, ReCap
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and coordination practices
- Knowledge of steel detailing standards and industry best practices

Remuneration:

Packages range from $78,000 to $135,000, commensurate with skills and experience.
