We design and manufacture our tools in WA, and distribute, market and sell them around the world. Headquartered in Perth, WA, with satellite offices in the USA, Canada and Germany. We are undergoing a period of high growth and are seeking a commercially driven and hands-on General Manager to help lead our business through its next phase of expansion.
About the RoleReporting to the CEO, the General Manager will drive our business development activities that include growing existing opportunities, identifying new ones, and building the strategic partnerships that support long-term growth. The General Manager will also lead operational functions and oversee financial performance, ensuring the business has the capability and stability to support sustainable growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesDrive business development activity, identifying new market opportunities, customer segments and distribution channelsBuild and strengthen relationships with distributors, retailers,



OEM partners and key stakeholdersNegotiate major commercial agreements and evaluate licensing and strategic partnership opportunitiesPursue business development opportunities that translate into measurable revenue and profitability outcomesOversee day-to-day operations across all departmentsLead annual business planning, translating strategy into measurable objectivesDrive continuous improvement and change initiatives to support business scalabilityOversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting and margin managementProvide leadership and direction to department heads and their teams
About YouSignificant experience (5+ years) in a senior management roleA strong background in business development, ideally within a comparable business setting or marketExperience selling through multiple channels, including distribution partners, retail and direct-to-consumer (D2C)Financial management, team leadership and operational management experience is desirableInternational business experience and/or experience in the manufacturing, tools or hardware industry is desirableStrong strategic, analytical and commercial negotiation skillsA natural leader, comfortable driving change and adapting to a fast-paced environmentA confident communicator comfortable working across multiple time zones and geographies (German language skills a plus)
