About the Role
We are currently recruiting for 2 positions and are seeking 2 enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join the team as a Part Time Catering Assistant and a Part Time Cook Assistant.

Catering Assistant

This role plays a key part in delivering nutritious meals and high-quality service to our aged care residents.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation, packaging, and kitchen cleaning

- Serve meals to residents with care and respect

- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and health protocols are followed

- Provide friendly and responsive customer service

Cook Assistant

The Cook Assistant works alongside our Head Cook to prepare tasty and nutritious meals for our resident across both our sites at Windsor Street and Korongee Dementia Village. You will be given the opportunity to develop your cooking skills under the supervision of our Chef Manager who is passionate about developing the skills of his team.

What we’re looking for to be successful in our Catering Assistant and Cook Assistant role:

- Experience in aged care catering (desirable)





- Ability to commit to a rotating roster including weekend shifts

- Excellent time management and attention to detail

- A compassionate and team-oriented attitude

Essential Requirements

- Satisfactory National Police Check valid within 12 months

- Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration (NDIS Endorsed)

- Eligibility to work in Australia

- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Cook Assistant)

- Demonstrated understanding of food safety requirements in the aged care setting. (Cook Assistant)

- Demonstrated understanding of IDDSI Framework for food and fluid textures and thickness. (Cook Assistant)
