This role is accountable for establishing and supervising the machinery maintenance programs and procedures on the plant equipment.

The Opportunity

We are seeking trade qualified candidates for the role of Maintenance Fitter to join our Carwarp Almond Processing Plant Team. This role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for ensuring safe work practices and facilitation of machinery maintenance programs, and following best work practices to achieve the long‑term sustainability of the plant and its machinery.

This is not a 9am – 5pm position, and the roster will be in line with operational requirements working up to 12-hour shifts, including night shifts and up to 7 days on at a time (with sufficient breaks between next shift).





Our Ideal Candidate

- A fitter (mechanical engineering) trade qualification.
- Solid experience in the programmed and preventative maintenance of machinery.
- A strong safety mindset and track‑record.
- A excellent team attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Relevant work experience (food manufacturing experience is highly desired).

You must be confident of passing our pre‑employment medical / drug screen as we have a zero‑tolerance policy to drugs.
