Procurement & Contract Management Advisor

Responsibilities

Corporate Procurement

- Partner with corporate functions to understand upcoming sourcing needs and assist in the preparation of sourcing requirements and plans.
- Develop and document sourcing strategies that align with operational and functional objectives.
- Execute the sourcing process in accordance with approved strategies and the corporate sourcing schedule.
- Manage end-to-end tender processes including market engagement, evaluation, negotiation, and awards in close collaboration with stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with MMG sourcing standards, systems (e.g., SAP/Ariba), and governance requirements throughout the sourcing lifecycle.

Contract Management

- Oversee the ongoing performance of corporate contracts, including supplier performance monitoring, KPI reporting, contract variation management, and resolution of contractual disputes.
- Support contract implementation and transition processes to ensure supplier understanding and compliance with agreed terms.
- Proactively identify opportunities for contract improvements, cost reduction, and value enhancement across key supplier relationships.

Data and Analysis

- Source and analyse both internal and external data to support sourcing decisions.
- Conduct supplier and market analysis to determine total cost of ownership, supplier capability, and market dynamics.
- Monitor and report on key sourcing and contracting KPIs, ensuring alignment with business targets and compliance expectations.

Skills

- Ability to plan, prioritise,



manage procurement multiple sourcing and contracting activities while meeting business objectives.
- Ability to develop relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and provide practical procurement advice to support business objectives.
- Ability to develop and execute sourcing and negotiation strategies, lead commercial discussions and deliver value-driven procurement outcomes.
- Ability to analyse supplier capability, market conditions, commercial risks and total cost of ownership, applying sound commercial judgement to support sourcing, contracting and procurement decision-making.
- Strong written communication skills in English, with the ability to prepare clear, accurate and well-structured sourcing and contracting documentation.
- Proficiency in SAP, Ariba or similar ERP and procurement systems to support sourcing, contracting and supplier management activities.
- Proficiency in use of MS Office, in particular strong competency in MS Excel as an enabler for data analysis and MS Word for documentation.

Knowledge





- Understanding of procurement governance and best practices within multinational organizations operating under international commercial and compliance standards.
- Sound understanding of sourcing and contract management principles and practices, including supplier engagement, commercial negotiations and contract lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of supplier performance management, total cost of ownership (TCO) and market analysis techniques to support sourcing and contracting decisions.
- Understanding of procurement reporting, spend analysis, and data interpretation to support sourcing and contracting decisions.
- Practical knowledge of legal, commercial and risk management principles related to contract execution and contract administration across the jurisdictions in which MMG operates.

Experience

- Preference for 5+years’ experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Sourcing roles.
- Experience in strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations and the development of contract documentation to support procurement outcomes.

Education, Qualifications, Tickets, Licences

- Bachelor’s degree qualified in a Commercial/Business/Engineering discipline.
