Junior Estimator role with growing builder. Price complex $8M-$30M projects in live environments. Strong pipeline, growth opportunities

We are currently partnering with a well-established construction group as they expand into the Sydney market, seeking a JuniorEstimator to play a key role in their growing operation. Based in the inner-southern suburbs of Sydney, this position will see you involved in the pricing and tendering of complex building and infrastructure projects , often delivered within live, operational, and highly regulated environments . Projects typically range from $1M to $100M+ , with a core focus on the $8M–$30M range.

The Role

- Assist with the preparation of estimates and tender submissions
- Support the pricing of alterations, refurbishments, upgrades, and brownfield projects
- Obtain and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Assist with quantity take-offs, cost planning, and tender documentation
- Help identify project risks and opportunities during the tender process
- Work closely with senior estimators and project teams to develop accurate, competitive bids

About You





- 1–3 years' experience in an estimating or cadet/junior estimating role within construction
- Relevant construction qualification or currently completing one
- Strong attention to detail with good numerical and analytical skills
- Eager to learn and develop your estimating career within a growing business
- Confident using Microsoft Excel, with exposure to estimating software being an advantage
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
