The following documents must be attached to this application:
- Proof of Australian Citizenship (birth certificate, current passportor citizenship certificate)or Permanent Residency(Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO) Visa Details Check)
- Current Australian C Class Drivers Licence (or above) with no restrictions(no P plates)
- Current ACT Fire & Rescue Medical Consent Form 2026 to participate in physical abilities testing (dated within 90 days of this application submission)

- each file should be smaller than 1MB
- name the files using this format: LAST NAME, First NameDocument Type

Applicants who progress to Stage 4 Teamwork and Introductory Interview will be asked to provide the following documents by 17:00Friday 23 October 2026 (AEST). Failure to provide these documents by the deadline will result in your withdrawal from the recruitment process.

- Heavy Vehicle Knowledge Assessmentfrom a Road Ready Centre in the ACT (see Heavy Vehicle Knowledge Tests ) or your state/territory equivalent (If you hold a current Australian MRClass Driving Licence(or above) with no restrictions please disregard)
- An AFP National Police Certificate (NPC) dated within 90 days of this application submission.
- Optional: Current first aid certificate (‘ProvideFirst Aid’ or equivalent)
