Location: Bundaberg, Maryborough and Hervey Bay Regions. Employment Terms: Permanent, Full Time (Part time considered).
Remuneration: $42.15 – $59.04 per hour (dependent on experience) + Super, salary packaging benefits, kilometre reimbursement, and 5 weeks annual leave (pro‑rata).

Responsibilities
- Provide individualised, person‑centred speech therapy to elderly clients in community settings.
- Proactively screen and assess clients to formulate and maintain up‑to‑date individual care plans.
- Maintain open and fluid communication within a multidisciplinary health care team.
- Refer clients to appropriate health care professionals when necessary.
- Liaise compassionately with clients and their families.
- Travel between sites (approximately one to two days per fortnight) as required; travel is planned in advance and supported by the team.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology (essential).
- Experience as a Speech Pathologist/Therapist, preferably in aged care.
- Graduates encouraged to apply.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build great relationships.
- Clear understanding and experience with contemporary speech pathology theories and practices.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence and a road‑worthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance (essential).
- Confidence to satisfy relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
