General Manager Operations WA - Hospitality Silk Hospitality, Australia’s leading provider of hotel housekeeping solutions, is looking for a General Manager of Operations - WA. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for driving the performance, growth and operational excellence of a substantial Western Australian hotel portfolio. As a key member of the senior leadership team, this position plays a critical role shaping business outcomes through strong commercial leadership, strategic execution and the delivery of exceptional operational standards across all areas of the business.
Key responsibilities include
Leading operational performance across multiple hotel sites - ensuring financial, safety, quality and service objectives are achieved.
Contributing to strategic planning and supporting business growth initiatives.
Managing budgets, forecasting, cost control and portfolio profitability.
Driving operational efficiency through process improvement, systems management and compliance oversight.
Resolving complex operational challenges and implementing practical solutions.
Managing key client relationships, negotiations and stakeholder engagement.
Leading, mentoring and developing operational leaders and site management teams.
Travelling regularly across the portfolio to support teams, monitor performance and maintain operational standards.
About you
7+ years' leadership experience in hospitality, contracting services or a similar multi-site operational environment.
Strong commercial acumen and experience managing operational budgets and performance.
Proven ability to lead teams, drive accountability and deliver results.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to make sound decisions in fast-paced environments.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to contribute strategically at an executive level.
Willingness to travel interstate if required.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Operations Management or a related discipline.
