Relationship Director – Emerging Corporates

Step into a genuinely exciting opportunity, taking ownership of an Emerging Corporates portfolio with a strong focus on cash‑flow lending and structured working capital solutions. Based full time in Sydney / Gadigal Country, you will back ambitious businesses that are growing, investing and transforming, providing them with the support they need to move with confidence.

Responsibilities

You will manage and deepen relationships with sizeable business customers, while actively onboarding new‑to‑bank opportunities through your own networks and a high‑quality referral base. You will bring the whole bank to your customers, partnering closely with product and specialist teams across areas such as financial markets, transactional banking and private wealth to design smart, tailored solutions.

Day to day, you will be out in the market building your profile, shaping complex deals, and ensuring every existing customer feels supported and understood. Internally, you will play a visible role in the team, sharing your expertise and helping lift capability around credit, structuring and working capital conversations.

Qualifications

- Strong experience in corporate or commercial banking, with deep lending and working capital expertise for emerging corporate customers
- Well‑developed credit skills, including structuring and negotiating complex transactions
- A strong track record in business development,



including winning and onboarding current‑to‑bank customers through a robust network of referral sources and brokers
- Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work closely with product specialists and to coach and mentor colleagues within the team
- Confidence in identifying and originating broader banking needs, including home lending, as part of a holistic relationship proposition for your clients
