About the Project
ACCIONA delivers major rail upgrades as part of the Southern Program Alliance, removing level crossings and improving safety and reliability across Melbourne's Frankston line. The program upgrades stations, rail infrastructure and surrounding precincts, creating long‑term improvements for local communities.
The Position
The Junior ICI Analyst supports the delivery of Industry Capability & Inclusion outcomes across the Southern Program Alliance project through accurate reporting, robust data management, and practical support to procurement and stakeholder engagement activities. The role coordinates and maintains Industry Capability & Inclusion data, supports monthly and audit reporting, improves data quality, subcontractor reporting, and visibility of ICI performance against contractual Key Result Areas. It is also the main point of contact for data‑related ICI queries with Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA) and subcontractors,
escalating issues as required and working under the guidance of the ICI Lead.
Role Responsibilities
- Collect, validate and reconcile data with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain structured datasets and upload data to client/internal systems.
- Prepare and cleanse data for audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy, in conjunction with the ICI lead.
- Maintain historical data for reporting and analysis.
- Identify and escape data risks and support improved reporting quality.
- Maintain procurement schedules and reporting trackers.
- Identify, research and maintain records of social enterprises and Indigenous suppliers using recognised industry sources, and provide regular updates on opportunities.
- Act as a contact for ICI data queries and manage inbox enquiries.
- Assist with delivery of ICI initiatives and events.
- Provide coordination support for key cultural and ICI activities.
- Contribute to communications using data insights and reporting.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Minimum 2 years working in a similar role with extensive Excel exposure.
- Exposure in advanced Excel skills, including data cleansing, complex formulas and managing large datasets with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage recurring reporting deadlines and prioritise competing tasks.
- Explicit written and verbal communication skills, particularly when explaining data requirements or issues.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 years in a similar role.
- Extensive Excel including data cleansing, complex formulas and managing large dataset.
- Strong analytical capability.
