About the role

We are currently seeking a motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer looking for exciting and challenging projects and a drive to further progress their career.

A great role if you have a positive outlook, are a team player and want to be challenged by working on a diverse range of construction projects. The role reports to our Associate Director and sits within our Building Services team and requires someone with the ability to seamlessly integrate with other disciplines.

Ideally, you’ll be degree qualified, 8+ years' experience in HVAC design exhibiting great communication skills with an eye for detail and understanding of the commercial outcomes. A diverse role, you will be balancing a mix of responsibilities, combining your strong people skills with your passion for the technical aspects of the role. You will optimise productivity and manage own performance targets.

You will be responsible for providing high quality engineering advice on a wide variety of projects. This includes, due diligence, concept design,



detailed design, construction stage administrative duties and includes project leading opportunities.

Does this Sound Like You?

You’ll be an eager and enthusiastic mechanical engineer with 8+ years’ experience and relevant accreditation with Engineer Australia. NER registration, DPBA qualified and CPEng candidates are preferred or if you are working towards these accreditations.

- You will have working knowledge of Australian Standards & best engineering practices.
- You will have experience liaising with clients & practise good customer service
- You’ll be a natural people‑person, with an approachable and qualified communication style
- You will have exceptional attention to detail
- You will have excellent written language and verbal communication skills
- You will have the ability to work to deadlines and use your initiative on a daily basis
- Has proven experience in working with engineers across other disciplines
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- Terrific team player who's able to develop and foster positive and productive relationships but can also work alone
- Ability to remain calm and effective in an often fast paced environment
