Knox Private Hospital is seeking an Orderly to join our team on a casual basis. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and be committed to high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction in a fast‑paced and diverse environment.
Responsibilities
- Patient assistance and transfers, including use of lifting machine and bed movers
- General housekeeping duties: cleaning beds, organising linen, restocking equipment, and waste management
- Assist clinical staff with patient needs
- Remove dirty linen and ensure clean linen is readily available
- Operate in line with WHS policy and procedures
- Cultivate a hospitable and friendly environment for all patients
- Act as an active team member to support all work tasks
Qualifications
- Authority to work in Australia
- Experience as an orderly or in a hospital environment (desirable)
- Vaccination and serology records prior to commencement
- Working with Children check
- Commitment to service excellence
- Ability to prioritise and organise work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- High level attention to detail
