What’s the role?

We’re seeking experienced Cleaners to join our team at Curtis Island on a Casual basis. As a Cleaner, you’ll play an essential role in maintaining a secure, clean, and well‑organised environment for the team and residents. Your responsibilities may include:

- Cleaning offices, first aid room, ablution/shower blocks,



and lunch/crib rooms
- Rubbish removal and restocking lunchrooms & kitchenettes
- Chemical handling and adhering to safety procedures
- General cleaning and maintenance of communal areas

What do you need?

- Previous cleaning experience ideally in an Industrial environment (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work 10 – 12 hours per day
- Physically fit to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
- Self‑motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- Current driver’s license and reliable transport (Early hours ferry commute required)
- Previous experience Bus Driving, highly desirable (and associated qualifications)
- Gladstone local (preferred), no FIFO
