A South Eastern Queensland hospital requires a Senior Medical Officer in General Practice from 29 June 2026 to 16 January 2027.
Location: Western Downs region, Queensland – a rural town about 299 km west of Brisbane with a population of approximately 1,980.
Contract: Temporary, 29 June 2026 – 16 January 2027.
Salary: AUD 2,700 per month (equivalent to AUD 2,700 per day).
Accommodation and transportation, including flight, car and accommodation, are provided.
Hospital facilities: 8‑bed facility offering emergency, medical, palliative care and several outpatient clinics.
- Provide general practice services.
- Cover emergency department.
- Shared on‑call duties.
- Must be registered with AHPRA.
- Must have the right to work in Australia.
