- Want to give back and help kids build confidence and friendships through sport.

What You’ll Be Doing – A Day In The Life

You’ll be out in the community helping kids get moving, feel part of a team and develop new skills.

Your Week Might Include

- Supporting community events and game days, creating positive experiences for kids and families.

- Championing inclusion through programmes for multicultural communities, girls in sport, Indigenous programs and children of all abilities.

Role Type and Hours

This is a casual, flexible role suited to those who thrive in dynamic, community‑focused environments. Hours vary with program periods and include short, two‑hour sessions as well as longer blocks during peak times. Availability during school hours, after school, weekdays, weekends or a mix of these is welcomed.

Most Shifts Occur

- During school hours for school programmes and competitions.
- Before or after school for Auskick and Superkick sessions.
- Occasionally evenings or weekends for AFL Nines & community events.

What We’re Looking For

- Confident working with kids, with a fun, positive energy.
- Great communicators who can connect with children, families and school staff.
- Reliable, independent and proactive, especially when working solo in schools or at events.
- Open to learning new things, including AFL activities and programmes.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a NSW Working with Children Check.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
