St Luke's OSHC Capalaba is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Casual Educators to join our supportive team. Catering for up to 75 children across Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care programs, we provide a fun, safe, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships, creating memorable experiences, and being part of a team that genuinely values children, families, and educators.

About the Role

As an OSHC Educator, you'll help deliver engaging play‑based experiences that foster creativity, confidence, and connection. Working alongside a supportive team, you'll contribute to a welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to participate.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and facilitate engaging recreational and educational experiences for children
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Support the day‑to‑day operations of the service




- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve positive outcomes for children and families
- Participate in professional learning and development opportunities
- Contribute to a culture of respect, wellbeing, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

- Experience working with school‑aged children in an OSHC, education, recreation, or care setting, not essential but highly regarded.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, reliable, and proactive approach
- Ability to create engaging experiences that are fun, inclusive, and child‑focused
- Current completion of, or willingness to complete, mandatory National Child Safety Training (Gecko Learning)
