Senior Network Engineer opportunity in Melbourne for a government client. 3-month contract with strong potential for extension or permanent opportunity. $800/day (inc super). Mostly work from home with occasional in office travel. Must have PR or Australian Citizenship.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years in a network engineering role
- Strong experience in LAN, WAN, Switching, Routing & Firewalls
- Proficiency with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, NetScaler, SD-WAN, Wireless AP (Aruba)
- Knowledge of network security, access control models, and cloud platforms (Azure & AWS)
- Experience with on-prem data centres and incident response
- Minimum CCNP certification
- Excellent communication and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
