Lead Playwright Architect

We are looking for an experienced Lead Playwright Architect to design, build, and scale modern UI test automation frameworks using Playwright .

Exp: 8 years (6 years relevant in Playwright)

Responsibilities

- Architect and lead end-to-end UI automation frameworks using Playwright
- Define automation standards, best practices, and coding guidelines
- Lead POC development and framework enhancements
- Integrate Playwright with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)
- Collaborate with developers to enable shift‑left testing
- Review automation code and mentor QA engineers
- Provide technical leadership for test strategy and execution
- Ensure automation scalability, maintainability, and performance
- Hands‑on experience in test automation architecture & framework design




- Experience with CI/CD integration
- Knowledge of BDD/TDD and Agile methodologies
- Strong experience with Git, version control, and code reviews
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving skills

Valuable to Have

- Experience with API automation and test data management
- Exposure to cloud‑based test execution (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Knowledge of performance and security testing
- Prior experience as Automation Lead / Architect
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Proactive mindset with ownership attitude
