Role Details
Role type: Full Time. Department: Advancement (University Communications & Marketing). Salary: UoM 8 – $122,736.00 – $132,487 per annum, plus 17% super.
Overview
As a Reporting & Performance Analyst in our Digital Experience & Marketing directorate, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our digital marketing efforts by delivering high‑quality reporting and insights to enhance campaign effectiveness across paid, earned, and owned channels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement reporting and optimisation strategies for digital marketing colleagues.
- Create and execute digital performance marketing strategies to optimise experiences across digital products.
- Analyse data from various sources to produce reports and actionable insights that drive decision‑making and improve marketing effectiveness.
- Build and maintain a robust performance measurement framework to ensure high‑quality end‑to‑end reporting across all channels.
- Leverage AI, ML, and data enrichment techniques to enhance analysis and optimise channel performance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experienced data analyst with a strong background in digital marketing, possessing excellent SQL skills and proficiency in business intelligence tools, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Hold a postgraduate degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or have equivalent industry experience.
- Expert‑level SQL skills and experience with CDP, CRM, CJA,
and AEP tools.
- Solid analytical skills and the ability to design solutions that meet business objectives.
- Proficient in using BI reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience in the higher education or non‑profit sector is desirable.
