About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer to lead the design and delivery of AI‑enabled automation solutions across our business. Sitting within Retirement Solutions, this role will focus on building scalable, production‑grade solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform and Azure AI services.
You will play a key role in driving our transition from traditional automation to AI‑led solutions, improving operational efficiency and delivering measurable business outcomes across core superannuation processes.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Lead the design, build and deployment of Power Platform solutions, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Develop AI‑enabled workflows leveraging Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, OCR/Document Intelligence, and other Azure services.
- Integrate solutions with APIs, APIM, and enterprise systems to enable end‑to‑end automation.
- Identify high‑value automation opportunities that improve efficiency, reduce errors and release capacity; ensure all solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture and governance standards.
- Drive continuous improvement through optimisation, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members.
- Establish and maintain development standards, governance, and best practices across Power Platform.
- Support AI governance, risk controls, and regulatory compliance (including data protection and audit requirements).
Experience & Personal Attributes
- Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Hands‑on experience integrating with REST APIs, HTTP connectors, and JSON.
- Exposure to Azure services such as OpenAI, Functions, AI Search, Service Bus, and Key Vault.
- Understanding of AI/LLM integration patterns and prompt engineering.
- Experience working within DevOps environments, including CI/CD and version control.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to design scalable, production‑ready solutions.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Cooperative mindset, with experience working across Technology, Risk, and Business teams.
