Job Overview

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Cloud Specialist to join our growing technology team. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions that support our organization’s digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure solutions across multiple cloud platforms
- Monitor cloud systems and applications to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to automate provisioning and configuration management
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related incidents and performance issues in a timely manner
- Develop and enforce cloud security policies, compliance standards, and best practices
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to support application deployment and integration
- Analyze and optimize cloud resource utilization to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Plan and execute cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and procedures
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement

Core Skills and Experience

- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with cloud infrastructure and services
- Proficiency with major cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Robust knowledge of networking, security protocols, and firewall management
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools and practices
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash




- Solid understanding of virtualization technologies and containerization concepts
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience managing and troubleshooting enterprise‑level cloud environments

Preferred Skills and Experience

- Multi‑cloud platform experience and expertise
- Hands‑on experience with containerization technologies
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tools and deployment automation
- Cloud cost optimization and resource management experience
- Industry‑recognized certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or equivalent)
- Experience with database management and optimization in cloud environments
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver)

Qualifications

- 5–10+ years of IT experience, with significant hands‑on cloud engineering/architecture experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field
- ITIL 4
- Microsoft Certified – Azure Security Engineer (AZ‑500)
- Microsoft Certified – Azure Administrator (AZ‑104)
- Microsoft Certified – Solutions Architect (AZ‑305)
- Microsoft Certified – Azure AI Engineer (AZ‑102)
- Microsoft Certified – Azure Network Engineer (AZ‑700)
- Microsoft Certified – Azure Data Fundamentals
- Awareness of other advanced cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional)
- Combined with demonstrated experience influencing strategic outcomes and leading complex initiatives
