Redpath Partners are exclusively partnering with a well-capitalised, privately owned property developer to appoint an Assistant Development Manager into their growing Sydney team.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a highly experienced development team delivering two of Sydney's most significant residential precincts. Together, these projects will deliver more than 2,000 new apartments within well-connected, mixed-use environments and are now progressing through the planning and approvals phase into delivery

Working alongside an experienced development team, you'll gain exposure across the critical phases of the development lifecycle, from SSDA lodgement and approvals through detailed design, consultant coordination and ultimately construction delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the management of projects from SSDA lodgement and planning approvals through to construction, completion and handover.
- Assist in coordinating architects, planners, engineers and specialist consultants to achieve project milestones.
- Support the management of SSDAs, planning conditions, authority approvals and project documentation.
- Assist with design development, value management initiatives and consultant coordination.
- Monitor programme, budgets and project reporting while supporting the wider development team to deliver key milestones.
- Prepare briefing papers, reports and presentations for senior leadership.




- Work closely with internal delivery, commercial and sales teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Assist in managing relationships with government authorities, consultants and key project stakeholders.

About You

- 2+ years' experience in an Assistant Development Manager role or 3-4+ years in a similar client-side development role.
- Exposure to residential or mixed-use developments.
- An understanding of the planning, design and development process.
- Tertiary qualifications in Property, Construction, Planning, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- A proactive and commercially minded individual looking to build a long-term career within property development.
