About the Role

The ENT Registrar provides appropriate care to inpatients and public outpatients of the ENT unit, and also provides a consultative service for patients of other units or departments.

The ENT Registrar will provide care and consultation for patients under Ear, Nose, Throat, Head, and Neck surgery. There will also be the opportunity to attend ENT theatre sessions at the Austin Hospital and be included in the weekend on call roster. The successful candidate will supervise junior medical officers and support the senior medical staff in the care of the unit’s patients.

Qualifications and Experience

- Experience and good working knowledge of ENT surgery (at least 6 months of clinical experience)
- Current AHPRA registration
- Ability to undertake police certificate check and WWCC
