This role is for the OT who's quietly been doing leadership work without the title. The clinician that other therapists come to with questions, who spots a system problem and fixes it before anyone notices, and cares about client outcomes and how the team around them is running.

What This Role Actually Involves

Clinical (approx. 50–60%)

- Manage your own NDIS and/or paediatric OT caseload across Brisbane
- Conduct functional capacity assessments, home modifications, AT recommendations, and therapeutic interventions
- Maintain documentation standards and NDIS compliance

Leadership & Operations (approx. 40–50%)

- Support, mentor, and supervise therapist team and team leaders
- Assist the founder and area manager in onboarding new clinical staff and embedding them into systems
- Identify clinical or operational gaps and work with leadership to solve them
- Contribute to policy, process, and quality improvement initiatives
- Act as a first point of contact for team clinical queries

What Medisense AU Offers

- Above‑industry average remuneration commensurate with leadership scope
- Adaptable hybrid working – community visits and WFH

- Direct access to and partnership with the founder
- Real influence over how the clinical team is built and run
- No KPI pressure – we measure quality, not billable hours
- Structured CPD investment and leadership development support
- A growing organisation where your contribution is visible, not lost in a hierarchy

Who You Are

- Degree in Occupational Therapy (required)
- Minimum 3 years post‑graduate clinical experience in community/NDIS settings (required)
- Demonstrated interest or experience in clinical leadership, supervision, or mentoring (required)
- Strong communication skills across clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Valid Queensland driver's licence (required)
- Right to work in Australia (required)
- Someone ready to grow with an organisation, not just work inside one

Screening & Compliance: Applicants will be required to complete pre‑employment screening including AHPRA verification, police check, and working with children check.
