Overview

Exciting roles are emerging in the Australian regional water industry with Beca HunterH2O, a leading consulting partner for water utilities and councils across NSW, the NT and the ACT. The team of over 300 water specialists is looking for talented project management and engineering professionals to join at junior, intermediate and senior levels to lead delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

- Lead project, program and design management from planning through to construction for regional water and wastewater projects.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop scope, cost, schedule, quality, procurement, risk and resource plans.
- Support client construction management and assist with project execution.
- Work within delivery frameworks underpinned by the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, commerce or a related professional field.
- Experience or interest in the water industry; prior work with water utilities or local government is highly regarded.
- Knowledge of chartership pathways with Engineers Australia or similar professional organisations.




- Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with contract management, commercial acumen, strategic planning, partnership and portfolio management.
- Desirable knowledge of design and engineering principles within the water sector.

Work Workplace & Flexibility
