About The Role

As the Services Foreman - Underground Services , you will lead and coordinate underground services activities across renewable energy and civil infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Civil Superintendent / Construction Manager, you will provide frontline leadership to crews, subcontractors, and site teams to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes.

You will oversee trenching, conduits, cable pathways, service pits, duct installation, and associated civil works while coordinating closely with engineering, survey, electrical, and project teams to ensure services are delivered ready for installation, commissioning, and handover.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate daily underground services construction activities including trenching, conduit installation, service pits, cable routes, duct installation, and backfilling works.
- Lead and coordinate underground services activities including trenching, conduits, ducts, cable pathways, service pits, and associated civil works.
- Manage services crews, plant operators, subcontractors, and resources to deliver works safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements.
- Coordinate civil and electrical interfaces to ensure services installation sequencing supports downstream cable installation and commissioning activities.




- Ensure underground services are constructed in accordance with drawings, specifications, survey requirements, quality standards, and project documentation.
- Maintain strong safety, quality, and environmental compliance while supporting inspections, handover requirements, and successful project delivery.

About You

You will be an experienced civil construction leader with strong underground services experience and a proven ability to coordinate teams and deliver complex civil works.

You Will Have

- 10+ years’ experience delivering underground services, civil construction, infrastructure, or major projects.
- Proven experience as a Services Foreman, Civil Foreman, Leading Hand, or Supervisor managing underground services crews.
- Strong experience with trenching, conduits, ducts, cable pathways, backfilling, and underground infrastructure installation.
- Ability to interpret service drawings, coordinate survey requirements, and manage civil/electrical construction interfaces.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with renewable energy, solar, BESS, substation, or large infrastructure experience highly regarded.
- Construction White Card and current Driver’s Licence.

Additional tickets such as Working at Heights, Confined Space, Dogman, or Rigging will be highly regarded.
