We’re looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join our team in Carole Park, working Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm. This role is responsible for repairs on machinery breakdowns, conducting preventative maintenance as scheduled and providing support on maintenance projects.

What You’ll Do

- Setting up of machinery to enable the manufacture of engineering products
- Repair and replacement of components, parts or other items
- Installation of plant and machinery
- Design and manufacture of modifications to existing components parts and other items
- Maintenance of plant and equipment
- Construction and commissioning work
- Compile and distribute daily maintenance changeover reports
- Serve as the escalation contact for all maintenance-related incidents, providing timely support and resolution
- Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures and implements corrective actions to prevent recurrence

What You’ll Bring





- Previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment (FMCG preferred)
- Previous exposure to a high-risk food manufacturing workplace would be ideal
- Knowledge of Food Safety is preferred but not essential
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Good computer and communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
