NFPs, Human Rights & Social Impact - Lawyer/Associate
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lawyer/Associate join our national NFPs, Human Rights and Social Impact team working alongside Sonya Parsons.

The Role
Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lawyer or Associate join our national NFPs, Human Rights and Social Impact team working alongside Sonya Parsons in Sydney. The role offers the chance to work on complex, sensitive, and high-profile matters within a supportive and highly experienced practice.
In this role, you will work across a range of matters including:
- Advising and representing defendants in historical institutional abuse claims;
- Advising and acting for non-government schools in respect of regulatory actions; and
- Dealing with internal disputes in NFPs.
Who We Are Looking For
You will thrive in this role if you:
- Have between 1-4 years’ experience in a similar practice,
and with a genuine interest in the area
- Are drawn to work that requires care, patience, and emotional maturity
- Can maintain professional boundaries while dealing with distressing subject matters
- Can demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to display strong empathy and build rapport given the sensitivity
- Have a client-service approach
- Have at least a credit average academic history from a well-respected university
