Reporting to the Lead Health & Safety, these roles are responsible for promoting and supporting BCI’s Health & Safety requirements across the Mardie Project, ensuring all personnel and contractors meet our safety expectations.

As construction progresses at Mardie, we are continuing to shape our team. We are looking for an individual who is ready to be a part of this exciting operation, where you will have the opportunity to really make an immediate impact.

The Role

As we progress the development of the Mardie Salt Operation and Potash Project, we are seeking proactive Health & Safety Advisors to support our site-based teams and contractors. In this role, you will champion BCI’s Health & Safety standards, provide practical guidance to personnel across site operations, and ensure compliance with all relevant legislative and project-specific requirements. You’ll play a key part in fostering a strong safety culture and supporting continuous improvement across our operations.

About You

We are seeking 3 x capable and committed Health & Safety professionals with the following:

- A solid understanding in WHS legislation, incident investigation (ICAM and Five Why), and high-risk work requirements.
- 3–5 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role within the mining or construction industry.
- Practical, hands-on knowledge of safe work practices and the confidence to apply them in a dynamic project environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate with contractors, supervisors and leaders,



using strong interpersonal and coaching skills to influence behaviours and support a proactive safety culture.
- Organised, analytical and detail-focused, with well-developed planning, problem-solving and negotiation skills, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
- Highly self-motivated, able to independently manage workload and drive tasks to completion and proactively identify hazards and implement practical safety solutions.
- Proficient in MS Office and experienced in safety and environmental management systems, with INX exposure highly regarded.

To be successful, you will hold a Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or a relevant graduate diploma, along with experience in the projects/construction industry. You thrive in complex team environments, adapt well to fast-paced operations, and maintain high attention to detail in all work.

The successful candidate will be required to provide a national police clearance dated within the last three months and must hold a current WA White Card. You must have current unrestricted working rights for Australia to be eligible for consideration.
