We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Food & Beverage expert, to join our team as Food & Beverage Duty Manager for Outlets. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Outlets Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and smooth shift operation of the Restaurant, Cafe, Bar and Room Service, while ensuring a high level of guest and team satisfaction.
- You will form part of the Food & Beverage leadership team providing ongoing support, training and development to team members.
- This is a dynamic role working in the outlet's operations.
- Work closely with the Food & Beverage Outlets Manager, Director of Food & Beverage and Hotel Manager to support revenue initiatives and maintain cost controls.
- Assist in the recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members which has a particular focus on ensuring we maintain brand standards and cultivate an upselling culture.
- Meet and greet all VIP clients to ensure expectations are met.
- Prepare, manage and assist in facilitating major events operational requirements.
- Prepare and manage team members for a smooth operation, including conducting briefings and ensuring grooming standards.
- Ensure rosters have an adequate number of team members for future events.
- Effectively handle client feedback and provide a prompt positive outcome.
- Regular interactions with Sales & Marketing team, promoting current F&B; promotions.
Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience within a fast paced Food & Beverage operations.
- Sound understanding of emerging trends in the industry, with an innovative mindset.
- Strong focus and passion for hotel, food and beverage operations, and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to excel within a busy operation and be able to multitask with a warm friendly approach.
- Ability to work a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Possession of impeccable attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team to deliver successful operations.
- Flexible and able to embrace and respond effectively to change.
- Ability to facilitate corporate and social events.
- Must hold a valid RSA.
