Housekeepers & Kitchenhands

- $60,087 - $75,671 Base Salary + Super (depending on roster)
- Various rosters available
- Drive in/Drive out from Blackwater and surrounding areas (no FIFO)

ESS provides multi‑service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback. Due to anticipated growth across our Blackwater portfolio in Central QLD, we have exciting opportunities for kitchenhands and housekeepers across 3 villages working 14x7 (10) rosters (14 days on, 7 days off, 10 hour shifts) or 4x3 (10) roster (Tues to Fri, 10 hour shifts).

Position

- Various rosters – 4 days on, 3 days off, 9 days off or 14 days on, 7 days off
- Work as key members in our remote kitchen and housekeeping teams
- Duties include cleaning, laundry, housekeeping, assisting with food preparation, dishwashing and more
- Physically demanding roles,



requiring 10‑to‑12‑hour days
- Model positive working relationships, demonstrating trust, care and respect

Person

- Must have housekeeping/cleaning/kitchen hand and/or hospitality experience
- Driver’s licence and own reliable transport is mandatory
- Must reside within 5 km‑500 km of Blackwater QLD
- Be flexible and adaptable with a can‑do attitude
- Ability to work within a team and autonomously when required
- Time savvy and ability to meet deadlines
- Physically fit and able to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug and alcohol test
