About The Role
This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for leading day‑to‑day maintenance activities across our manufacturing operation. You will drive preventative maintenance strategies, respond to breakdowns, and support safe, reliable, and efficient production outcomes. The role is suited to a trade‑qualified Electrical or Mechanical professional with strong leadership capability, a proactive mindset, and experience within manufacturing, heavy industry, or mining environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support maintenance activities across plant and workshop equipment
- Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and/or mechanical faults
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Supervise and support trades personnel, providing technical guidance where required
- Manage maintenance schedules, work orders, documentation, and reporting
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Maintain accurate maintenance, safety, and compliance records
What you will bring
- Trade qualified Electrician or Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent)
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, heavy industry, or mining environments
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a maintenance team
- Robust fault‑finding and troubleshooting capability
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills
- Commitment to safety and best‑practice maintenance standards
