Job Description for HR Executive in Melbourne/Sydney

The Role:

Will coordinate a range of Human Resource functions, including people engagement, health and safety practices, performance management and related documentation. A key focus of this role will be creating strong people processes and building an effective workplace culture that is people focused through the analysis of business needs, retention practices and people practices. Respond effectively to queries from managers & staff about a variety of HR activities in a timely manner. Guide, assist and communicate with business units on the usage of the HR systems, providing an effective first level of service. Interact and manage Union engagement onsite and ensure we are meeting all compliances. Govern and update health and safety standards and requirements as per legislative requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Experience working in a matrix and global setup
- Excellent understanding of Australian employment laws and health and safety requirements
- Experience interacting with Unions and managing payroll
- High-level Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to coach first-level leadership and stakeholders
