SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - COFFS HARBOUR - PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FIRM (JOB ID 1511)

Our client is a leading independent network of accountants, auditors and advisors with 26 partners and 220+ professionals across Queensland and Northern NSW. They provide tailored accounting, tax, audit, and consulting services to privately owned businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and ASX-listed companies across Australia and internationally.

The Role:

- Deliver accounting, compliance and advisory services across a diverse client base
- Prepare and review accounts, annual returns, BAS, trusts and companies
- Conduct taxation work, including researching and concluding tax issues, preparing and checking individual, company, trust and partnership returns
- Managing FBT processes
- Monitor client management reports to identify opportunities for business improvement
- Maintain and produce financial reports using Xero, MYOB and Reckon
- Support junior staff through mentoring and guidance

About You:

- Minimum 4 years' professional services experience in a mid-tier accounting firm




- CA/CPA-qualified or actively working towards certification
- Proficient in Xero, MYOB and Reckon
- Robust technical skills across accounting, compliance and advisory
- Excellent communication, client service and relationship-building skills
- Can-do attitude with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
