The business is seeking additional accounting support to assist the finance team with day-to-day operations and core reporting requirements. You’ll be working within a cooperative and supportive environment where accuracy, reliability, and teamwork are highly valued.

The Role

This is a 4‑month contract opportunity for a capable Accountant to support the finance function during a period of increased workload. The role is hands‑on and well suited to someone with solid transactional and reporting experience who is comfortable stepping in and adding value quickly. You will assist across a range of accounting duties, ensuring smooth delivery of key financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with month‑end close activities, including journals, reconciliations, and reporting
- Support management reporting and analysis as required
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Assist with accounts payable,



accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting queries
- Contribute to ad hoc finance tasks and process improvements as required

About You

- Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or Accountant role
- Sound understanding of core accounting principles and end‑to‑end processes
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
- Confident user of accounting systems and Excel
- Ability to work autonomously while also contributing effectively within a team
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, can‑do approach
